| Female fronted punk rock band with melodic vocals that consists of 2 guys and 2 girls....what the hell else you need to know??? Here’s some history if you're wondering: the band started out in March of the year 2000 in my (Adi) basement. We were originally called the Relix and were forced to change the name since there was a magazine called Relix in existence. (WEIRD) So, we changed the name to the New York Rel-X since 3 of our 4 members had lived in New York. Blah Blah Blah...It's been so long so i'm trying to remember all the details. Well..it was funny cause I always wanted to start a band especially since I've been around bands, shows all my life. So, I finally did. Thanks to Brendan from CBGB's, I got my first push. Vice Squad was coming to town, it was June 1st, 2000...and I really wanted to play the gig. I had asked Brendan if I had a band by then can I play? so months before I started working on getting members together and Brendan said we can play the Vice Squad show. So, there it was. The beginning of the Relix/New York Rel-X..... I didn't believe we would get so far. I still don't. Playing with my favorite bands and even becoming friends with them. For those of you who don't think it's possible.. IT SURE IS!!!!!! Anyway, I can't ask for anything better. I play in a band with my best friends, I play music I love, and I play with the greatest bands in the world (small or big) and I only have all our families, friends, and fans to thank for making my dreams come true!!!!!!!!!
